Thieves V.2: Update
Since several people have been asking me how to edit, hide, or show certain parts of this theme, I have altered the code a bit so you can do the following:
- Change the top links to whatever you’d like (instead of just home/archive/rss)
- Hide or show your blogroll
- Enable or disable your Likes
Simply copy and paste the new code found here, save, and refresh the Customize before making these adjustments. Once you refresh the page, you will see these new options on the sidebar in the form of check boxes and text area boxes for you to input different links and link names on the top bar.

One time payment of course! And you can change anything you want once you purchase, it’s yours! Font colors, link colors, background colors, background image, whatever you want.

How is everyone liking the new theme?
After 325+ downloads so far, I haven’t heard any complaints/issues regarding installment, so that’s great! If you’re using the Bookends theme on your blog and wouldn’t mind me taking a look, leave your URL! :) I’m curious to see how some of you have customized it!

“Bookends” is a customizable theme for the personal blogger. The content and image posts are set at the default size of 500px. Very content- and color-customizable. Also allows MANY different appearance options: Banner (825x250 pixels) OR Blog Title; background pattern OR solid background color; no background image, color, title, or banner, etc.
In addition to the customizations listed above, you will also be able to alter the following:
- Link colors, font sizes and styles, and line heights
- How far the sidebar is from the top (default height already set)
- Recent Likes, Blogroll, Category tags, and Social Networking links availability on the sidebar
*NOTE: Since this theme is highly customizable, please be sure to CHECK OFF all the things you want visible on the left sidebar of the Customize page; otherwise your changes will not appear in the preview! Each option must be properly selected since there are so many different choices!

Here’s a little sneak peek at the theme I promised you all! It’s incredibly similar to my current personal blog theme, so take a peek over there for a live preview. It will allow so many different combinations of alterations: with or without a banner, with or without a blog title, with or without a background image, white or HEX solid background color, banner with white background or with a patterned background, etc!
It will also allow recent likes, Disqus comments, a blogroll, social networking links, etc! Probably my most customizable theme yet, made with personal bloggers like myself in mind!
